The Mountaineers Program is for children 6-12 years of age. It offers extended lessons (2 hours) on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. While these lessons can be progressive (5 different levels are available), you can take as many or as few as you need on a weekly basis. The program is designed to give students the opportunity to learn to ski or board, improve current skills, meet new friends and have a great time on the slopes. The price is $70.00 and includes lift and rental (whether needed or not). Classes are Saturdays and/or Sundays from 1:00 to 3:00. Registration will take place the day of the program. Please register your child well before the starting time, especially if he or she is renting equipment. Registration may also be made in advance by contacting the Ski and Snowboard School. A 10% discount is available for prepaying for 3 lessons all used this season by the SAME PERSON. NOTE: Parents wishing to work with their children should be aware that no one is permitted on the main mountain who is not skiing or boarding. Space permitting in the Magic Carpet Area, one parent would be permitted to purchase a Magic Carpet© pass to work with their children without parent skiing or boarding. Children not skiing or boarding are not permitted on snow at any location at Spring Mountain. No sleds. |
