Re:  Covid-19 Plan of Action

Our season passes will still be discounted depending on when you purchase them.  The earlier you purchase, the lesser the price.  The cut-off dates for these discounts will be the same as shown on our website.  May 31st, July 31st, October 31st, and full price after November 1st.  In recognition of your loyal support of Spring Mountain we also want to add some new details to give you some comfort and assurances moving forward.

You can reserve your 2020-21 season pass with $25 down and pay the rest in monthly payments between the time of your purchase and December 15th.  Your purchase price will be determined by when you make the down payment, not at the time of your final payment as we have done in the past.  For instance, if you pay $25 now your total price would be as listed on the May 31st cut off date.  There will be no interest charged and you can ask for a total refund at anytime before opening day, no questions asked.  Click on Buy Online on the Home Page to pay the $25 Deposit & lock in your discount rate. You will get a call to set up payments that will work for you.

If we must close during the 2020-21 season due to the virus you would be issued a credit towards the 2021-22 season based on a 75-day season.  For instance, if we were only open 50 days you would get a credit of one third of whatever you paid towards the next season.

As a loyal season pass holder you will always be given priority if we must limit our numbers.  There would always be enough space reserved for our season pass holders.

For the protection of our guests and employees Spring Mountain will be implementing the following changes and precautions for the 2020/21 winter season.

First, Spring Mountain will be complying with all CDC and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania guidelines with an emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing.  In addition, Spring Mountain will be following the ski area best practices as outlined in the “Ski Well, Be Well” document produced by the Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association and the National Ski Areas Association.  Click here to review this document.

We are encouraging everyone to make purchases on-line to avoid lines in the lodge and handling money.  Lift tickets can be picked up at the outside window.  Lessons and rentals will still be handled inside the lodge observing social distancing and facemasks are a must.

Your car will be your lodge.  We encourage you to change your boots in your car.  There will be no ski bags, backpacks, crock pots or any other personal items allowed in the lodge.  There will be no lockers available in the lodge.

There will be no games in the lodge this year.

The Café and the Pub will operate per State regulations.  Again, you can eat in your car if you wish.

There will still be all-day open to close lift tickets available.  This year we will be also offering daily tickets good from 10:00 to 4:00 along with evening tickets starting at 4:00.

We will not offer our evening specials (student night, college night, date night & family night) at the start of the season to minimize crowds. We will still offer Men’s & Ladies day discounts as they are offered at a time that is not typically crowded. We will resume our nightly specials as soon as possible.

The past several years we have been closed during the day on Mondays and Tuesdays.  This year we will be open day and evenings seven days a week.

The best option if you plan to be here on multiple days will still be a season pass to avoid lines and restrictions.

Stay safe,

Your Spring Mountain Staff
