How does the Pennsylvania Snowpass work?
Snowpass Holders will be given a Swipe Card that contains one (1) FREE Learn to Ski/Board Package and three (3) coupons for a complimentary children’s day lift ticket at each of the 19 participating resorts in Pennsylvania. You must be accompanied by a paying adult (as determined by member resorts) Blackout dates and paid adult lift restrictions. A maximum of two 4th & 5th Grade Snowpass holders per paying adult may obtain a complimentary one session lift ticket using their Snowpass.
Can I apply for my Snowpass at Spring Mountain?
NO, you cannot apply for your Snowpass at the ski areas; you can apply online at SkiPa.com or by mail as we do not have a drop-off or pick-up location. It is very important that you plan accordingly especially around holiday periods when the volume of requests significantly increases.
When can I use my Pennsylvania Snowpass at Spring Mountain?
Your Snowpass is valid from for the 18-19 Winter season – no black out dates at Spring Mountain! ONCE PROCESSED A SNOWPASS WILL BE MAILED TO PARTICIPANT. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE SKI AREA WITHOUT YOUR SNOWPASS. SKI AREAS CANNOT ISSUE A COMPLIMENTARY LIFT TICKET WITHOUT THE PASS.
What if I do not own equipment?
No worries! We have equipment that you can rent.
Never skied or boarded before?
No problem, your first time is on us! Your Snowpass contains one (1) FREE Learn to Ski/Board Package, which includes your lift ticket, lesson and equipment when accompanied by a paying adult.
What if my parents do not ski or snowboard?
Now would be a great time for them to discover skiing or snowboarding, Your snowpass includes an Adult 50% off learn to ski package, This includes beginner lift, lesson and rental!
How much does it cost to get a Pennsylvania Snowpass?
There is a $35/$40 non-refundable processing fee to cover the cost of processing the application and mailing of your Snowpass. ($35 if received at PSAA office by December 1st 2018 and $40 if received at PSAA office after December 1st 2018)
Do I have to live in Pennsylvania?
NO. The Snowpass program is available to all 4th & 5th graders no matter where they reside.

Is there an application deadline?
Applications must be postmarked by February 28, 2019 in order to be processed. The processing time is 2 to 3 weeks. Please be advised that Spring Mountain’s Season usually ends Mid-March so apply early! You can apply online at SkiPa.com or by mail as we do not have a drop-off or pick-up location. How do 4th & 5th graders enroll?
Applications are sent to Pennsylvania elementary schools, public and private, in late September. You can also download a copy online at www.skipa.com. To enroll, please return a completed application signed and initialed by your parents; a copy of your 4th or 5th grade report card, school ID or any other document verifying school grade (last year’s final report card can also be submitted as grade verification too); a 2” x 1½” color photo (with child’s name printed on back of photo) to be used in your Snowpass and a $35/$40 non-refundable processing fee. Does an adult season pass qualify as an “adult lift ticket purchase”? Yes at Spring Mountain an Adult Season Pass does qualify.
