Learn to Ski/Snowboard


This package is for ages 6 through adult who are taking their first lesson or still need a very beginner lesson and takes place on the beginner hill. It includes a beginner area lift ticket, ski or board rentals and a 1 hour  lesson. You can add a helmet for $10.00. Group Learn to Ski/Board Beginner Lessons are available:

Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays –  10:00, 12:00, 2:00, 4:00 & 6:00.  Tuesdays & Wednesdays 4:30 & 6:00 PM. Please book ahead online & plan to arrive at least one hour before your lesson time.

Group Lessons & Learn to Ski/Board Lessons are NOT intended to be taken multiple times. If you feel like you need another go at the introductory lesson, you can take it an additional time but please be advised that it will always be the same lesson – group lessons are not progressive. Once you have taken the Beginner Lesson, you will want to sign up for Private Lessons or one of our Progressive Lessons Programs – The After School Program, Saturday/Sunday Lesson Program, Adult Progressive Program or Adventure Education Program.

4th/5th Grade Snow Pass Lesson
The 4th/5th grade Snow Pass comes with one (1) FREE Learn to Ski/Board Package, which includes your lesson and equipment. The free Learn to Ski/Board Pkg can NOT be booked in advance. Please show your 4th/5th pass upon arrival. Please arrive at least one hour before the lesson you would like to get into. Everyone in your party not using the 4th/5th pass for the Learn to Ski/Board should book in advance online. 4th/5th Free Lesson Times: 

Monday, Thursday & Friday lessons are available at 10, 12, 2 & 4:30 

Tuesday & Wednesday lessons are available at 4:30  

Saturday & Sunday lessons are available at 10, 12 & 2

PLEASE NOTE: The free 4th/5th grade lesson is NOT VALID for the 6:00 lesson on weekdays or the 4:30 & 6:00 Lessons on Weekends.  NO EXCEPTIONS. 

NOTE: Parents wishing to work with their children should be aware that no one is permitted on the lift who is not skiing or boarding. Space permitting, one parent would be permitted to purchase a Beginner Area pass to work with their children without parent skiing or boarding. No street shoes allowed.  Every one on the mountain is required to have a ticket. Children not skiing or boarding are not permitted on snow at any location at Spring Mountain. No sleds.
